CaptionEdit

CaptionEdit can scan and straighten paper photos using Google’s PhotoScan, add editable multiple-line captions to your photo from device camera or library, and change their aspect ratio for display on different platforms. If you want to digitise paper prints (colour or black and white) and add the details of who, when and where so that they’re visible on any platform, CaptionEdit is for you.

Captions can be edited after they’ve been applied - if you find the photo of your grandmother is actually your great aunt, you can correct this.

Different aspect ratios are used by different platforms, which will truncate if photos with different aspect ratios are displayed. CaptionEdit changes the aspect ratio by adding padding around the original image, which remains intact.

Images can be saved and shared (with all their metadata) in any album, and can be shared just like the originals.

CaptionEdit does not show you any advertisements.

You can license CaptionEdit to use all the available features on monthly or yearly basis. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it in Account Settings at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period. Your account will be billed within 24 hours the end of the billing period. Any unused portion of the 7 day free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription.
